Walking into Mimi's studio, you are surrounded by bears of all shapes and sizes. Instantly, you feel the warmth of a special welcome. Mimi is animated and when she talks about her craft, bear making, her eyes light with delight.
The studio is adorned with many of her talents. As you follow the path to her door, you see the beauty of nature in her flowering gardens. Inside is magical. Lace trimmed windows, sponge painted cabinets, stenciled floors turn this studio into a fantasy land.
Mimi started making bears 10 years ago, when her husband gave her a kit. Thus began her love affair with "The Teddy Bear". Soon after completion of her first bear, she enrolled in an adult school bear class. Again Mimi desired more information and studied via a correspondence course. She is a craftsman and well known for her unique one of a kind bears.

Each new bear is her new child. They are crafted with love and are individual in look. No two bears are made exactly the same. Each will have a different look and feel. They will be as pictured in the gallery, but facial expressions will be different; and each one will take on their very own personality.
