Life of  an Air Force Airman

Karn J. Elder, TSgt, USAF Retired

GROVE CITY COLLEGE
GROVE CITY, PA

I was assigned to AFROTC Det# 745,  Grove City College  in July 1972.  My duties
were to take care of cadet's pay records, flying program records, and cadets physicals.
This was the best four years of my Air Force career.

Cadets annual dance is once a year; and this year they were very lucky by getting the Air
Force Band.  This was a very large affair for the cadets given to them by the unit
        Angles.

After four wonderful years of living in a civilian community, it was time to go back
to military life again.   My next duty station was Charleston Air Force Base.
In June of 1976 I said my "good bye" to Grove City and many friends.
